Royal Mount Saittas

Royal Mount Saittas is unique.

An idyllic development set deep in the heart of nature it lies in the midst of forest greenery slopes of the Troodos Mountains. This large project commenced in 1975. Here the company owns approximately 3000 donums of land on the south face foothills of Troodos mountains. This pine covered area known as Royal Mount Saittas has superb mountain scenery and panoramic views of mountain tops to the south. In line with the Government's planning policy for the area the company has phased out its development plans. The first and second phase involved the preparation of 400 plots and 70 luxury villas were built and most of them were sold to clients worldwide. Several new villas are now available for sale and third phase construction is under planning. Prices start from CYP 165.000.

The Royal Mount Saittas project is one of the most attractive in the Troodos mountain area. It offers a unique opportunity to "get away from it all" in a truly rustic environment, yet with every modern convenience on hand and numerous attractions within easy reach. Since its inception, extreme care has been taken to retain the natural beauty of the area. Our philosophy is to create homes that completely harmonize with the environment. In keeping with this philosophy our architects design spacious, comfortable villas on equally spacious plots, using only natural materials such as Cypriot timber and stone. Attractive sloping brick roofs complement the infinite beauty of the skyline.

Nestling on the slopes of the Troodos mountains, just a short drive from the coastal resort of Limassol, through breathtaking scenery, lies the exclusive resort of Saittas. It is an idyllic spot; the perfect place in which to really relax in the tranquillity of the pine - scented mountain air.

In springtime the mountainside is a tapestry of glorious colours as the almond, citrus and cherry trees come into blossom. Tall, majestic pine trees soar upwards to clear blue skies, while below, the cool, refreshing mountain streams wind their way slowly through the forests to the sea below.

For those who enjoy a leisurely stroll or a serious hike, there are some fascinating nature trails through the mountain forests. Visit the enchanting Mesapotamos Falls a short walk away, or explore one of the timeless mountain villages such as Lania, tradionally the village of artists whose attractive water colours admirably capture the charm of Cypriot village life. Nearby is the Kourris Dam, the largest dam in Cyprus , a favourite venue for the angler.

The main mountain resort of Platres, with its friendly, old fashioned atmosphere and hospitable people, is only eight kilometres away, and beyond is the skiing resort of Troodos, and Mount Olympus , 6401 feet above sea level.

Whether soaking up the stillness of the mountains, picnicking by a waterfall or revelling in the convivial atmosphere of a local taverna, days spent in Saittas will always be memorable.

Situated at 2800 feet, the development comprises sloping forest vegetation and orchards commanding a spectacular view over the town of Limassol (a mere 20 minutes drive) and the sea beyond. Tennis courts, a swimming pool, gym and cafeteria are planned and there is a supermarket as well as a number of small grocery shops nearby for provisions.

It offers bungalows and villas built only with natural materials, such as Cypriot timber and stone, ensuring perfect harmony with the environment. Traditional on the outside, built on spacious plots to exacting specifications, each individual home is designed with your ultimate comfort in mind.
